Subscriptions

What is your subscription service?

Our subscription service is designed for customers who want optimal hair growth results by committing to using our products on a more frequent basis. We offer a 10% discount for those who select the subscription service. 

By selecting the subscription service at checkout, you can choose to have our product(s) sent to you every 30, 60, or 90 days. Please note if you sign up for the subscription service, you will be billed automatically based on the subscription cycle you have chosen. For example, if you choose to receive product(s) every 30 days, you will be billed automatically every 30 days from the date of original purchase.

Payment methods can be change by logging into your subscription account.

Can I cancel my order?

Our subscription service is not designed for one time purchases. We can not cancel any subscription until at least two charge cycles have been processed. By selecting the subscription service, you agree to being charged on a subscription basis.

Shipping

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we currently offer international shipping! We are actively working on solutions to reduce the cost.

How long will it take to get my order?

3-7 Business days

Orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days from the date you placed the order. Shipping times depend on the preferred method you selected at checkout. Please refer to your tracking number to see the estimated delivery day.

Returns/Exchanges

I received the incorrect item

If you received the wrong item please send us a photo at hello@dghair.com as soon as possible. Our team will work on sending you the correct item(s) as soon as possible. When you receive your correct item, please use the enclosed shipping label to send back the incorrect item(s). Incorrect item(s) must be shipping backed within 7 business days to avoid a double charge.

I am missing item(s) from my order

If you received your order and any item(s) are missing please contact us at hello@dghair.com as soon as possible. After a brief investigation with our warehouse team, we will replace your missing item(s) as soon as possible.

My item arrived damaged

Our team does its best to package your item(s) carefully to ensure safe transit. In the event your item(s) arrive damaged, please let us know as soon as possible. You can email hello@dghair.com with a photo of the damaged product and the shipping box. Once we receive your photos, we will process a replacement order or reimbursement.

Can I return my product?

Unfortunately, we will not facilitate returns or cancellations.

If have you received defective product(s), we gladly offer you an exchange.

Navigate to our Contact Tab to process either of these requests, be sure to indicate 'Cancel Order/Exchange'.

Can I exchange a product?

If you ordered the wrong item or prefer a different product, we can accommodate exchanges.

We can only exchange unused products.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related any exchange.

Customers will be sent an invoice for return shipping costs prior to the exchange being initiated.

All exchanges are subject to approval.

How do I book an appointment for services?

To schedule an appointment in our Sacramento salon, please call the salon at (916)-686-5030, if you can not get in contact with anyone, please reach out to our booking assistant at (916) 250-3087.

What is the Healthy Hair Program? 

The Healthy Hair Program is the combination of utilizing products from our Healthy Hair Care System Starter Kit, along with protective styles and other healthy hair routines to maximize the benefits of healthy hair growth results.

How do I start the Healthy Hair Program?

We currently offer the Healthy Hair Program in our California salons located in Los Angeles and Sacramento. Our stylists will develop a customized plan to help achieve optimal hair growth results, through our salon services and products.

What if I don’t live in California, or not close to one of your salons, but still want to start the Healthy Hair Program?

We recommend ordering our Healthy Hair Care Starter Kit, to take advantage of the benefits our Healthy Hair Program offers from the comforts of your own home. We advise that you carefully follow the directions enclosed with the kit. The Healthy Hair Care Starter Kit is also most effective if your frazzled, damaged, or split ends are completely off before starting and if you incorporate protective styles for optimal hair growth results. What is the difference between the Healthy Hair Program and The Healthy Hair System Starter Kit?

The Healthy Hair Program is currently only offered in our California salons under the guidance of our stylists, in which we use the Healthy Hair Care System Starter Kit, protective styling, and other healthy hair routines and practices to achieve healthy hair growth results.

The Healthy Hair Care System Starter kit is a group of products that can help customers achieve healthy hair growth results from the comfort of their own home.

What if I do not wear weaves or other protective styles, will your products still work for me?

Yes, our products will still work for you if you do not wear weaves or other protective styles. Weaves are specifically recommended for our Healthy Hair Care program,  because they typically leave your hair untouched and protected for a longer period of time which maximizes hair growth results. Other hairstyles and routines, can potentially leave your hair more exposed to normal wear and tear and subject to excessive heat damage. As long as you follow the guidelines listed in our Healthy Hair Care System Starter Kit along with maintaining healthy ends, you can also achieve results.

Do you guys still do the Healthy Hair Tour?

Due to covid, we are not traveling at the moment. Please follow our social media channels on Instagram (@dreamgirlshair) for updates on when tours may resume.

Product/Hair Care

Does this product help for Alopecia?

We recommend that you consult with your doctor first to make sure your follicles aren’t damaged before using the product.

Is this product designed for thinning hair, can it make naturally thin hair thicker?

If your hair naturally has low density(DNA), that cannot be changed. We can grow it and maximize the health of your natural density. The product helps to maximize your natural density level.

Will these products work if I have 4C hair or wear my hair natural?

Yes, our products are specially formulated to be used on all hair types and textures. Please note that results can vary from person to person depending on hair type and your personal hair care routine.

Can you use this on relaxed/chemically treated hair?

Yes, our products work on all hair types and textures including chemically treated hair. We recommend purchasing our trio (TLC combout, revival treatment, true essence oil) for relaxed hair with the intent of growing out your stronger, natural hair for the best results.

How frequently should I use the products?

Frequency will vary from person to person, depending on hair type and need. Please visit our product page for more detailed information regarding the use of our products.

Will the Healthy Hair Care System Starter Kit still work if I do not wear weaves but I wear other protective styles such as braids, twist-outs, etc?

Yes, our products will still work for you if you do not wear weaves but wear other protective styles. Weaves are specifically recommended for our Healthy Hair Care program,  because they typically leave your hair untouched and protected for a longer period of time which maximizes hair growth results. 

We advised using the starter kit especially our TLC comb out treatment every time you take down your protective style. The longer you can leave the protective style in the better the results!  Simply follow the directions included with our Healthy Hair System Starter Kit and be sure to maintain healthy ends when coming out of any protective style.

Can I use the Healthy Hair Care Kit with my protective style?

The Healthy Hair Care System Starter Kit is designed to be used in between protective styling and especially during your take-down process. We do not recommend using our system while your protective style is installed with the exception of our True Essence Oil. The True Essence Oil can be applied directly to your scalp.

Can various ethnicities use the product?

Yes, this product is designed to be used for everyone!

Can men and children use this product?

Yes, this product is designed to be used for everyone!
